A New Beginning

Today marks a new beginning for the Contraband Corvette Club website, www.contrabandvetteclub.com

When I was asked to redo the website by the officers/board a couple of weeks ago, I made a conscious decision to try and simplify the process of updating the calendar, news, and photos After all, it hadn't been updated in over one year.

Unfortunately, the website that hosts our site is very limited in it's ability to handle anything more sophisticated than just basic display of text. As such, I've had to take a slight detour in the direction of the web page to accomplish the goals I had in mind. I decided to use other services to put together a more flexible and easy to update website for future officers.

As it stands, I have a few links to outside resources provided for free by Google. This includes the Calendar feature, the News feature (which you're reading now), and the Photos feature.

So forgive me for a little cross-site jumping in the design, but it was necessary, and please forgive any little hiccups that may occur with the site as I'm working with the hosting service to get things straightened out for the long haul.

Oh, and enjoy the new site.
